ACCELERATE, organised by AISTS, Innovaud and CVCI, in collaboration with CantonVaud, Ville de Lausanne, Lausanne Region and ThinkSport, provides support to various technological initiatives, through a series of exclusive workshops, establishing a 360° view on recent challenges within sports innovation.

The AISTS (International Academy of Sports Science and Technology) was founded in 2000 by the International Olympic Committee, EPFL, University of Lausanne, University of Geneva, IMD Business School, Ecole Hôteliere de Lausanne, Canton of Vaud and City of Lausanne. A not-for-profit foundation, the AISTS is committed to professionalising sports management through continuing education, applied research and an engaging platform for industry connections.


Innovaud - the hub of innovation in Vaud, is the first port of call for innovation in Vaud, providing free support to innovative start-ups, scale-ups and small and medium-sized businesses in the canton. Innovaud focuses on innovations in cutting-edge technology or new approaches, and prioritizes support for businesses in the fields of life sciences, precision industry, cleantech, and information and communication technology (ITC). This includes: financing, support, promotion, premises and networking.


Founded in 1898, the CVCI (Chambre vaudoise du commerce et de l'industrie) is a private economic association. The CVCI is financed through its members’ contribution, which totalize some 3'200 companies from all economic sectors – and through the sales of various services. Its mission also consists in defending its members’ interests.
